Santa baby

The boys have never expressed an interest in going to see Santa. Parker has a fear of facial hair, so I think that's the major deterrent in wanting to get too close to the St. Nick. Fine with me. But at our church Christmas party, Santa made an appearance, so this was their chance at a "free" Santa encounter. 

But first, how cute is Austin when he prays? They way he closes his eyes is just too sweet. 

 So with a little reassurance that Santa was nice and the facial hair wasn't scary, the boys waited patiently in line. I asked Austin, "What are you going to ask Santa for for Christmas?" His response, "An Ipad. haha. Just kidding, I already have one."

Parker asked for a nerf gun. I also sang a duet with a new friend who is very talented. Fun night. The only thing missing was Pete, who was at his Command Christmas party. We decided that just he would go since tickets were over $40 a piece! Not in the Christmas budget! He said it was fine, but he probably would have had more fun with us:)
