Gingerbread house extravaganza

We're not artistic, crafty, or patient with those types of activities in our family. But when Pete brought home a gingerbread house from his office gift exchange we made a night of it. And it was everything we thought it would be. haha. Apparently you have to let the icing set a while in order to establish some stability with the house walls and roof. We were not so patient. So the whole time, one of us was supporting the walls while the others decorated/ate gross candy. 

Unless we are gifted more houses in the future, don't think this will become a Dahlquist tradition.
