It has been too cold to want to be outside much lately, but I sucked it up on one of our somewhat warmer days, and sat in the driveway to watch the kids play. They had a great time, except Austin kept pushing the boundaries and venturing further than he was allowed. Naughty boy. Parker is hilarious when he gets frustrated with Austin's disobedience. If he only knew what I endured with his behavior the first four years of his life!
I signed Parker up for lunch bunch one day because I met another preschool mom at a baby shower, and we thought our boys would hit it off. The only problem was the boys had never met. So when I told Parker to look for Bradley at lunch bunch he voiced a concern about not knowing who he was. So he asked me to text the mom to see what he was wearing. It was like a blind date. As it turned out, they got along and we look forward to another playdate soon. Matchmaker, matchmaker...On Sunday, Dec 7 after church, we went over to the Little Creek Base and attended a Pearl Harbor memorial service. It was very touching and I'm glad the boys are being exposed to the sacrifice of military families. Anytime we go somewhere and see a service-member, the boys salute them and say "Thank you for your service." We hadn't gotten a picture of Pete with us in his uniform, so this was the best we could do.
No snow yet in Virginia, but it sure has been cold. Here we are at preschool dropoff.
