Let there be peace on earth

This has been our week of Kids Sing shows. Last week the kids performed at a nursing home. They did great and the older folks really loved these darling children. Afterwards the kids go around to shake hands and give hugs. It is so good for them to learn this spirit of service and love early on in life. It also really increases their confidence and courage to walk up to someone who they don't know.

Last night they performed at the Friends and Family Concert. Wee Sing sang first, and it was Parker's first big show. He had a great time. I will post more on him next. Then Kids Sing did their part. Denise and I sang a duet of "Away in a Manger." I think it added something special to have this traditional song in the program. Then we closed with "Let there be peace on earth" with sign language. It was very beautiful and the families loved it. I feel really fortunate to have had such a great response to the group and am really excited about our "best of broadway show" in the spring!
