December Madness

You know life is hectic when it doesn't cross your mind to update the blog. I literally have not even thought about it in two weeks. But given that the people who I see everyday require that I keep up on my blog posts, I am going to catch up today if it kills me. So without further ado...

First of all... after 3 years and 9 months of sleeping exclusively in a pack n play... Parker now sleeps in a big boy bed. This bed has been set up for almost a year, but he's been very resistant (he says he needs a big bed like ours... yeah right kid!). All it took were some new Planes sheets and a bed railing and voila. He is so much more comfortable and comes into our room less in the middle of the night. We've tried putting he and Austin in the same room again, and it only works on occasion (Austin wakes up at the slightest sound or smell of Parker entering the room and then will not go back to sleep). So sometimes Park sleeps on the couch (which he truly enjoys). Whatever works.

 Pete works with the 14 year old Boy Scouts. They are so good to Parker and Austin. Here they were at our place earning some kind of badge for cooking chili dogs.

 I took Parker and Austin to see the movie "Frozen" with some friends. It was a delightful movie and both boys were captivated. Now all Parker wants for Christmas is an ornament of "Olaf the snowman". Done and done.
